We were still talking about the present perfect cp to the past simple when the past simple is used to talk about finished actions and the present perfect is used for a time that is unfinished.

TYPICAL EXPRESSIONS WITH PRESENT PERFECT

IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS, UP TILL NOW, DURING THE LAST TWO WEEKS.


WE ALSO STARTED TO LOOK AT PHRASAL VERBS AND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SEPARABLE ( she sorted out the problem/she sorted the problem out BUT ALWAYS she sorted IT out.
INSEPARABLE : They looked after the dog/they looked after it.

REMEMBER THERE IS ONLY ONE SECRET TO PHRASAL VERBS!!!!!

We also read about Australia and did a listening about different people and their travels!
